The division of agricultural land as a result of inheritance is one of the cases that cause the agricultural land to be subdivided into smaller lots over time and this lots undergo a change of use, Whereas, in order to maintain food security and sustainable development, maintaining integrity has been one of the issues of concern of legislators. This prompted the legislator in Turkey to prevent the fragmentation of agricultural land and change its use by enacting special laws.in Iran the legislator with the aim of preventing the division of agricultural lands enacted a law to prevent fragmentation of agricultural lands due to inheritance also, But this law could not achieve the desired goal and the process of dividing agricultural lands continues. In this essay, by using the experience of Turkiye, it has been provided suitable solutions to Iran's legal situation.
