Criminal policy is separated and modeled based on the reference components - freedom, power and total domination. In the criminal policy model of freedom-oriented, the basic component is freedom, and the approach of international documents is to promote this component in the criminal policy of countries. In this model, with the distribution of power among the different components of the government and the establishment of mutual supervision, indicators are defined for the police so that while the police are able to fulfill their legal duties, the legitimate freedoms of the citizens remain preserved. In freedom-oriented models, by predicting indicators, a balance is tried to be established between the legitimate freedoms of the accused, the interests of the society, and the performance of the legal duties of the police. This research, with a descriptive-analytical method and using library resources, has sought to identify and explain the indicators of police activity in the freedom-oriented model of criminal policy. The activity of the judicial and the police authorities within the scope of law - as long as considered legitimate based on the precedent placed by the legislator; the supervision of the police activism in a way that there is the possibility of ex post and ex ante police performance supervision in crime detection; the police intervention in the affairs of citizens based on the principle of necessity, to protect the citizens' interests; and respecting the police code of conduct in the process of crime detection being achieved through a humane and fair manner; are the indicators that freedom-oriented systems have defined and identified for police activity.
